Angelina Li, Ph.D., Founder and President
As the founder of AHL Consulting, Inc., Angelina brings more than 25 years of experience in alerting decision-makers to critical information that guides and focuses their approach to business solutions. Her expertise in qualitative and quantitative market research methods, competitive intelligence, and situational analysis has made her widely sought after for high-level communications companies in the broadband industry.

Prior to forming AHL Consulting, Inc., Angelina was Vice President of Marketing Research for Cox Communications, Inc., the third largest broadband cable television company in the nation. Angelina joined Cox in 1982 and, over the next eighteen years, led the research department with statistical rigor and a broad vision that stretched beyond traditional market research to the wider arena of corporate strategy. She has played a key role in developing Cox's customer satisfaction programs, and has been instrumental in ensuring that Cox maintains its coveted position as a true industry leader.

Angelina received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from St. Olaf College. Angelina's research career began at the Illinois Bureau of the Budget. She later joined the Illinois Department of Labor and served as their Research Economist for several years.

Ajit Dalvi, Senior Strategy Advisor
A former senior media executive and recognized cable industry expert in business, marketing and branding strategy, Ajit is known for his early roles in the cable television industry and more recently, for his work in broadband applications and the Internet. He is a recipient of the National Cable Television Association's Vanguard Award for his contributions to the growth and development of the cable TV industry.

Ajit began his career at Coca-Cola USA in 1971, where he served as the Brand Director for the Company's flagship brand, and joined Cox Communications, Inc., the third largest cable operator in the U.S.A in 1982. As Senior Vice President for Strategy and Programming, Ajit oversaw Cox’s Marketing, Programming, Marketing Research and Advertising Sales departments prior to his retirement in 2000. During his long tenure at Cox, Ajit was recognized as a highly respected and innovative strategy expert in cable TV /Broadband industry.

A founding member of the Board of Directors of the Discovery Channel, Ajit was a part of the leadership group that provided strategic guidance to the company as it grew to become the primary provider of non-fiction programming in the U.S. and 160 other countries.

Over the years, Ajit has served on the boards of several cable industry trade organizations in the U.S., including Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM), Cable Advertising Bureau (CAB) and CTAM Educational Foundation, as well as several U.S. and U.K. companies including Primestar, Inc., UK Gold, UK Living, E! Entertainment Television, SpeedVision, Outdoor Life Channel, Flextech Plc, and the Scientific Learning Corporation.

Ajit is a graduate of the University of Bombay and holds an M.B.A. from The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Michael E. Melton
Mike has almost 25 years of experience in providing deep insights into consumer opinion and behavior. He has in-depth experience in a wide array of research methodologies and takes pride in developing new approaches to better understanding customers and their behaviors, and effectively delivering those insights to decision-makers.

Prior to joining AHL, Mike was most recently the Executive Director of Market Research and Analysis for Cox Communications, Inc., the third largest broadband cable television company in the nation. Over his 21 years with the company, he was responsible for a vast array of research projects, including customer satisfaction, product positioning, new product launches, and consumer and competitive tracking. He also earned a reputation in the company and across the industry for using behavioral customer data to provide critical insights into business performance and opportunities. Prior to joining Cox, Mike spent four years as a Senior Research Analyst for The Coca-Cola Company.

Mike has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi with a concentration in Economics, as well as a Masters of Marketing Research from the University of Georgia.
